It’s an exciting time to join the AXA Commercial team in Ipswich, as we undergo significant growth across our branches to support the overall strategic business plan. We're currently looking to strengthen the team and bring to market the opportunity to join us as a Mid-market Underwriter.
The role encompasses many opportunities to contribute to the development and success of the branch account, not just from a growth and profitability perspective but driving service excellence to our customers. The team ensure close collaboration is supported internally across the teams to be set up for success, as well as engaging and building key relationships with the brokers and panel aligned business developers.
What you’ll be doing:
As a mid-market Underwriter, you’ll help drive and transform how we partner our broker portfolios, through responsive, flexible, and collaborative relationships. With a strong balance of technical and trading capability, you’ll be empowered to make decisions, supported by data, insight, and decision support tools on mobile technology to succeed. You’ll be focused on developing and delivering profitable growth, across new business within the key markets.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You'll work at least 60% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
