Job Description

We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Leadership Performance Development Coach on a 12 month fixed term contract, to become a vital part of the AXA Retail Pricing Function.

In this impactful role, reporting to the Strategic Learning and Development Business Partner, you will champion a culture of continuous learning and foster a coaching mindset throughout the organization. Your efforts will be instrumental in aligning our leadership development initiatives with AXA Retail's strategic goals, driving excellence and innovation within our teams.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our London Gracechurch Street office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conduct individual and group coaching sessions tailored for leaders at various levels, empowering them to enhance their leadership capabilities and refine their leadership styles.
  • Leverage AXA UK’s Leadership Development tools and resources to cultivate and instil robust leadership practices within the Retail Pricing Function.
  • Design and develop supplementary training materials, tools, and resources that effectively support leadership competencies and best practices, as required.
  • Evaluate the impact of leadership development and coaching initiatives by utilising assessments and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the AXA Retail Pricing Transformation Program and the AXA UK Learning and Development team to align leadership development efforts with organisational goals and values. Build and nurture relationships with external coaching networks and resources.
  • Foster a performance management culture that drives operational excellence while providing expert advice and coaching to managers on people-related matters, ensuring consistent policy implementation.

What you'll bring:

  • Professional coaching certification with previous experience in leadership development, coaching, or organisational development.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully coaching and influencing leaders at various organisational levels, driving positive change and growth.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, with a steadfast commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration within matrix teams, effectively driving business outcomes together.
  • Capacity to engage, inspire, and influence stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Skills and ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity with confidence.
  • High emotional intelligence, enabling you to build trust and rapport with coaches, fostering meaningful development experiences.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

What we offer:

At AXA UK, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:
