Job Description

We’ve an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and self-driven PMO Analyst to join our team within AXA Commercial. Working closely with the Strategic Transformation and Portfolio team, as well as Senior Leadership teams, you’ll be responsible for supporting a large programme of work for AXA Commercial.

 

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Ensuring that programme reporting, both internal and external, is complete, accurate and timely in relation to progress.
  • Driving the accurate production of Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies through effective guidance, training, monthly review meetings, along with timely dashboard reports using our standard toolset.
  • Ensuring the chosen AXA tool is set up to reflect the programme and delivery structure and remains up to date.
  • Lead on co-ordinating and checking the quality of materials submitted to various forum such as Change Management Committees, Programme Boards and Project Steering Committees; ensuring that the right level of controls and governance is applied to each
  • Work in partnership with our Risk team to ensure that risk and regulatory impacts on the portfolio are highlighted and reported as applicable
  • Establishing and sustaining an effective, positive working relationship with project and programme teams to enable successful delivery.

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Demonstrates expertise in project management within Waterfall and Agile environments, preferably with knowledge of tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, and DevOps.
  • Preferred experience in a Data led environment. 
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement.
  • Plans and prioritises work with a probing mindset to align with organisational goals and meet commitments effectively.
  • Analyses complex information to effectively solve problems and make timely decisions, whilst paying close attention to detail.
  • Focuses on efficient processes and continuous improvement.
  • Holds self and others accountable for meeting commitments and objectives.
  • Navigates complex organisational dynamics related to policy, processes, and people.
  • Communicates effectively with diverse audiences, addressing their unique needs.
  • Builds collaborative partnerships to achieve shared objectives and motivates teams.
