Job Description

Are you analytical, inquisitive and enjoy building meaningful relationships? We’re seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner who can handle and manipulate data, provide insightful analysis, and confidently communicate results. This role has lots of variety and is a great opportunity to build a career within finance business partnering.

You’ll work with Senior Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to help AXA Health achieve short-term and strategic goals. You’ll support front-line FBPs and wider teams on multiple projects, by creating and sharing financial reports and insights. Building strong relationships within the AXA Health Finance team is crucial for making well-informed financial choices.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our Tunbridge Wells office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at our Tunbridge Wells office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build partnerships and collaborative working relationships with AXA Health colleagues.
  • Deliver clear analysis which supports business goals and long-term strategy.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to help customer groups understand business performance and impact of new initiatives.
  • Create financial performance reports and identify areas for improvement and opportunities.
  • Support the build of comprehensive financial business cases. Assist FBPs to ensure operational, financial and risk impact of new initiatives are fully understood before presentation to Finance SLT (Senior Leadership Team).
  • Assist with post implementation initiative tracking, reporting actual performance against business case targes, using both financial and non-financial data.
  • Work closely with the AXA Health Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to ensure corporate, statutory and performance monitoring requirements are met.
  • Ensure that deliverables are accurate, within agreed scope and delivered in a timely manner.
