Job Description

We’re looking for a Process Analyst to play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and embedding new ways of working into AXA Health. This role bridges the gap between Systems Thinking principles and practical application within a product-oriented change model. As our Process Analyst, you’ll support tribes in optimising processes, supporting Systems Thinking interventions and ensuring that learnings are effectively integrated into Business As Usual.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home in our Tunbridge Wells office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct detailed process mapping using various techniques and tools such as SIPOC, VSM, BPMN2, to visualise and analyse current state processes.
  • Identify improvement opportunities using data and customer and stakeholder feedback to highlight areas for optimisation, waste reduction and efficiency.
  • Implement process improvements by collaborating, designing and testing with intervention teams, tribes and stakeholders.
  • Measure and monitor process performance.
  • Support a continuous improvement culture and promote and coach the use of problem-solving methodologies e.g. Lean, Six Sigma.
  • Embed product principles by assisting tribes in adopting and applying methodologies and product management to their workflows.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with effective communication between tribes and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Support product discovery by conducting research, feedback and iterating on product development based on data and insights.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable experience in process mapping using tools such as ARIS, analysis and improvement.
  • Ability to apply Systems Thinking principles to understand and improve complex processes.
  • Experience in leading workshops, meetings and other collaborative activity.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • Be driven and engaged.
  • A learning mindset.
  • Accountability for yourself and others to meet commitments.
  • Resilience from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

What we offer:

At AXA UK, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:

  • Competitive annual salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience
  • Annual company & performance-based bonus
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions)
  • Life Assurance (up to 10 x annual salary)
