This role is instrumental in harnessing digital capabilities, including automation, RPA, and agile methodologies, to streamline processes, enhance compliance and deliver superior value.

As our Optimisation Consultant, you’ll oversee process mapping, transformation initiatives, systems thinking interventions, and technology-enabled projects aimed at eliminating waste, boosting operational efficiency and identifying growth opportunities within the health insurance domain through detailed analysis and discovery activity.

Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Align optimisation strategies with strategic goals and collaborate with senior management.
  • Develop long-term optimisation strategies driving innovation and advantages in the business.
  • Partner with business functions to identify opportunities, implement enhancements, and ensure effective resource utilisation.
  • Guide interventions to identify areas for improvement across business functions.
  • Analyse and redesign existing processes to increase productivity and enhance performance.
  • Utilise data analytics to identify trends and provide actionable insights for informed actions.
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure the success of optimisation efforts.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proficiency in applying agile methodologies, intelligent automation, system thinking and RPA to drive operational improvements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects including technology-enabled and agile initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic health insurance goals.
  • Experience using agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, and project management tools to manage workflows and enhance team productivity.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations and reports for executive audiences with an emphasis on technological transformation, agile practices and process improvement in health insurance operations.
  • In-depth understanding of the health insurance industry, including regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and operational challenges.
  • Insight into leveraging digital capabilities such as RPA, intelligent automation, and agile project management, to drive transformation and improve patient and member experience.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in process improvement e.g. Lean Six Sigma, digital transformation, agile methodologies, intelligent automation are highly desirable. Experience or qualifications specific to the health insurance sector and systems thinking will be an advantage.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
